Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the director of the Center for Public Policy Research. She was widely credited as the pioneer of modern studies of the memory of witnesses and the role of children in witnessing. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer who has received many prizes and grants. She has worked with various governments and agencies throughout the world on policies and studies on children who are victims of the justice system. She is also a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) and is a part of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She has been a member of numerous professional organizations, which include the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family policy and practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56) Professor Goodman belongs to the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a Founding Member and International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the President of the America Psychological Association's divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice.
